Students, Instructors, Veterans: JAMES
VILLNAVE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
The Northrop
Rice Foundation is pleased to administer
the James Villnave Memorial Scholarships
sponsored by the James Villnave Charitable
Trust.
Mr. Villnave
was a well-known aviation maintenance
figure in the Kansas City area and he was
the owner of the Villnave Airport in
Belton, MO.
Applications
for these scholarships may be made by
students and instructors of FAA Approved
PART 147 schools and honorably discharged
veterans who are preparing to take the
Federal Aviation Administration written
examination for certification as Aviation
Maintenance Technicians (A&P).
The
scholarships may be applied toward
tuition, upgrade training, books, or tool
depending on the category of assistance
requested. The maximum amount of the
scholarships is $1,000.00 per year.
The deadline
date for submission of student and
instructor applications is March 1 of each
year. Veteran applications are accepted on
an ongoing basis.
